The 2021/22 edition of the International Insolvency & Restructuring Report provides an essential guide to the international insolvency and restructuring marketplace looking at developments and changes to the law during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 5th edition of the International Insolvency & Restructuring Report includes features by Julie M. Hertzberg, President of INSOL International on INSOL International’s current activities; Co-Chairs of the Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association, Anja Droege Gagnier and Darío Oscós, discuss the role of the Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association; and Samira Musayeva, UNCITRAL Secretariat looks at the work of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in modernising insolvency law.

The Report also includes coverage of insolvency and restructuring practice in the following jurisdictions: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cayman Islands, China, Cyprus, Denmark, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Nigeria, Singapore, Thailand, UK, USA, as well as commentary on sovereign debt restructurings, emerging market restructurings and the role of PIK instruments and other hybrid debt/equity in financing structures.

IWIRC and the International Insolvency Institute (III) are pleased to sponsor the first of its kind symposium with 6 outstanding panels featuring 35 women who are insolvency experts from 20 different countries. The Symposium begins on March 1 with 6 panels during the week. On Monday, March 8, we are pleased to host a very special International Women’s Day Leadership Panel featuring seven women who are Chair or President of the leading insolvency associations in the world. CLE and CPE will be applied for in the U.S. The cost is $50 to attend any and all sessions. Complimentary for judges and academics.
